Private Member Agreement

Welcome. This Member Agreement describes the terms and expectations for participation in the private member community managed by Karen Wickerson (“the Association,” "PMA", “we,” “us,” or “Karen”). Please read carefully. By joining the member area you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to follow these terms.

1. Membership and Eligibility
1.1 Membership is open to individuals aged 18 or older who complete the online intake and accept this Agreement.
1.2 Membership is personal and nontransferable. You may not share member credentials, logins, or member‑only content with non‑members.

2. Privacy, Confidentiality, and Respectful Conduct
2.1 All communications, session content, recordings, files, and member contributions within the member area are private. Members must not copy, distribute, publish, screenshot, or otherwise share member content outside the portal without written permission.
2.2 Members agree to treat others with respect and to keep all personal details and sensitive information discussed inside the member area confidential. Personal contact details, health information, or session specifics shared by other members must not be disclosed.
2.3 Harassment, bullying, hateful or illegal behaviour, or any conduct that undermines the safety and dignity of other members is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to remove any content or member that violates these principles.

3. Use of Materials and Intellectual Property
3.1 All materials provided in the member area, including recordings, written plans, templates, and videos, are the intellectual property of Karen Wickerson or third‑party contributors and are provided to members for personal, noncommercial use only.
3.2 Members may download permitted materials for private use, but may not republish, sell, redistribute, post publicly, or claim ownership of any content. Requests for reuse or licensing must be made in writing and approved by Karen.

4. Scope of Services and Medical Disclaimer
4.1 The Association provides animal communication, energy work, group sessions, and educational resources. These services are supportive and informational. They are not a replacement for veterinary care, medical diagnosis, legal counsel, or professional behaviour modification where applicable.
4.2 Members must consult appropriate licensed professionals for medical diagnosis, emergency care, or any matters requiring professional licensure. Karen may recommend collaboration with veterinarians, trainers, or other specialists when appropriate.

5. Expectations and Member Responsibilities
5.1 Members agree to provide truthful information in the intake process and to follow any safety or animal welfare instructions provided by Karen.
5.2 Members agree to act on recommendations responsibly and to keep records of changes and results where relevant. If you are unsure how to implement an action step, contact the Association for clarification before proceeding.

6. Recording, Storage, and Access
6.1 Sessions may be recorded for the benefit of attending members and for the Association’s private library. Access to recordings is restricted to members according to their membership level.
6.2 We store recordings and materials securely. Members accept that digital storage is subject to standard technical risks. The Association will make reasonable efforts to protect data, but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

7. Removal, Suspension, and Refund Policy
7.1 The Association reserves the right to refuse membership, suspend, or remove a member at any time for violations of this Agreement, disruptive behaviour, or conduct that puts others at risk. Removal decisions are at the Association’s sole discretion.
7.2 If a member is removed for breach of this Agreement, no refund will be provided for membership fees already paid. Membership fees are otherwise nonrefundable except where required by law or as otherwise stated in a separate payment policy.

8. Donations, Scholarships, and Third‑Party Programs
8.1 Any donations or scholarship contributions collected on behalf of third parties or partner organisations will be used only for the stated purpose. Documentation will be provided on request describing how funds were applied. The Association does not guarantee outcomes associated with third‑party programs.

9. Liability and Indemnity
9.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Association and Karen Wickerson, and their officers, contractors, and agents, are not liable for direct or indirect losses arising from membership, use of materials, or reliance on information provided through the member area.
9.2 Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Association against claims, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising out of their breach of this Agreement or misuse of member content.

10. Updates and Changes to the Agreement
10.1 We may update this Agreement from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to members in advance. Continued membership after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
11.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Karen Wickerson operates. Any dispute will first be addressed by good faith discussion between the parties. If unresolved, disputes may be handled through mediation before pursuing legal remedies, where practical and available.

12. Contact and Questions
If you have questions about this Agreement, data handling, or membership, please contact the site administrator or Karen directly through the member portal.
